The Credit Manager dealing with smartworking

The Credit Manager dealing with smartworking

post-author - Thu 02 Apr 2020 - smartworking

We've never talked so much of smartworking like in this period.

Due to the epidemic emergency we were forced to approach to a new way of working. But how many businesses have already introduced smartworking? And how many businesses had to approach for the first time?

How has our company reacted?

Our company has been working remotely since early March, when lockdown was established. Our employees never stop working and continued to guarantee an excellent customer service, establishing as your reference point in credit management.

After one month of smartworking it's time to draw some conclusions.

Which are the pros of working remotely?

Working from home is definitely less stressful, isn't it? You wake up at a reasonable time, there's less stress from commuting, you are more concentrated on your job and you also become more responsible.

And which are instead the cons?

Working from home you're likely to be less productive, maybe because you dont' have an efficent connection or a pc or headphones. You risk distracting more often, having longer lunch break and above all you risk feeling lonley.

Let's say it, working with your colleagues has its pros and cons: on the one hand, they can be helpful in difficult moments or just during breaks for chatting while, on the other hand, they may be a source of distraction, in particular for those who work in an openspace.

It's too early to say whether smartworking will be the job of the future, but it's sure that it has challenged us during this delicate period.

We leave you with a nice video on smartworking, where the protagonist is a Credit Manager dealing with this new way of working.
